This long standing group hosts some of the most unique events. The annual Women’s Fashion Show and Luncheon is one of the most popular annual events, the Elvis impersonator was a sell out event, Set up and hosted the food for the Grand re-Opening of Clubhouse II in 2008, (a huge event), set up and hosted a breathtaking spread of breakfast food for the George Allen State of the Asset Owners’ Convention, a National Event of Community Owners in 2008, (another huge event where they, once again, made Fountainview very proud), and they have a great time at their monthly meetings.
Not enough can be said about the Men’s Club. They have reached out into the community to help so many people through the past 20+ years, building ramps for residents, among other things. For a nominal fee, as a member, one gets a key to the Men’s Club wood working shop, a modern facility with all the woodworking tools one desires for any home project. This special group of Men set up and hosted the Reception for the George Allen State of the Asset National Event of Community Owners in 2008, with a tasteful, fun and welcoming spread for all attendees the night prior to the event. Men’s Club set off this National Convention, and showed off their community and their club with great pride.
This hard working group coordinates the monthly calendar. Fountainview provides the refreshments for a team of amazing people who help plan each very active month.
Now in their 23rd year, This Nationally Recognized, Highly Respected Group is one of the main reasons Fountainview is as special as it is today. They have so many accolades two clubhouses cannot display them all. Their new office is as up to date as any, and a bustling place to visit. The Watch registers all resident vehicles, mans the gatehouse, creates and distributes the resident cross directory, patrols the community, plus hosts the "Phone a Pal Program", (elderly, living alone, or just home from the hospital residents, check in every day, (7-days), to say they are okay. If they do not call in, staff checks on them.) This is just a few items this unique group performs throughout the year. It’s why they are deemed The Best!
A Hillsborough County Trained and Sanctioned Group of Residents that continuously educate themselves to be prepared in the case of an emergency.
Unique to Fountainview, one of Fountainview’s most treasured groups of resident volunteers, they host ticketed dinners, cook for other club’s events, and cook for the Annual Neighborhood Watch Awards Dinner to raise money so they may put on a Monthly Luncheon for all residents who have reached their 75th birthday, FREE! A phenomenal group of caring people, and "The Best Cooks In The Community" according to those who enjoy the reward of these special volunteers’ efforts. Each luncheon is followed by a mini-bingo game.
This unique group is responsible for most of the educational seminars offered to the residents. They are responsible for regular visits by the Blood Mobile and Book Mobile, Annual Flu Shots and Pet Seminars, among other wonderful Fountainview Events. (Public Welcome – Must have some association with Fountainview.)
This National Group meets in Clubhouse I and carpools to monthly Tea House Luncheons. They plan most of the year for their special Christmas Events and have other meetings and fun outside of the monthly luncheons.
Resident Motorcyclists meets regularly to go to breakfast, dinner and take one day trips. The monthly meeting is a planning meeting. They are a unique and fun group of residents.
The Fountainview church sponsors a Free Movie for all residents, including drinks and popcorn. The movie is always a well liked, popular, current movie. It fills the house. Many really look forward to this special event.
The name says it all. Fun Night Bingo is a resident only game, where laughter is the winning ticket.
The Book Mobile visits Fountainview in three week intervals, to help residents borrow, return or browse through books from the Hillsborough County Library System. (Public Welcome)
